LOUISVILLE The Kentucky Psychiatric Medical Association (KPMA) held its first-ever virtual conference on October 27, 2023. Dr. Laurie Ballew addressed the challenge of medication management during pharmaceutical shortages, particularly the need for stimulants. Dr. Rachele Yadon shared her experiences and resources for treating mood and anxiety disorders during the perinatal period. Attorneys Ashley Butler and Karen Keith from the law firm Stoll Keenon Ogden, PLLC discussed the legal pros and cons of telehealth and also provided an update of Kentucky law pertaining to telehealth inpatient care.
